바람이 분다.
폭풍 속에 놓인 적이 없지만,
폭풍에 무너진 것처럼 지내온 시절이 있다.
빈들에 있어본 때가 없다. 하지만 늘 빈들 이었다.
지금도 가끔은 그렇다.
작업은 늘 아쉽고, 모자랐지만
그 안에서 나는 신이 되기도 했고, 먼지가 되기도 했다.

보이지도 않고, 들을 수 없는 그 무엇에 집중했다.
똥이건 돌이건 바람이건 어느 한 가지라도 이치 없는 것이 없다.
의미의 상관은 뚜렷하지 않아도 좋다.
무엇이든, 어떻게든 우주의 법칙과 이치가 있었다.
그것이 무엇인지 명확히 증명할 수 없는, 그래서 더 위대한...

특히 이번 전시에서는 공간을 느끼고 싶은 욕심이 있었다.
붓을 팽개치고 마음 붓을 잡았다.
나무를 자르고 다듬고 칠하며...
하늘, 땅, 별, 사람. 그것들의 울림과 공명에 집중했다.
그 공간은 빈들이 되었고 바람이 되었다.
나는 빈들에 알몸으로 서 있었다.

숨기고 싶은 내면을 애써 마주한 작업 시간들이 외롭지 않게
함께 알몸으로 빈들에 서 주실 분들 정중히 초대합니다.


202409 [Sky, Earth, Stars, People] A letter of Invitation

The wind blows.
I have never been in a storm,
but there were times when I felt like I was destroyed by the storm.
I have never been in the empty field. However, I have always been the empty field.
It is still the same sometimes.
The work has always been regrettable and lacking,
but in it, I have become a god and dust.

I focused on something that cannot be seen or heard.
Whether it's dung, stone, or wind, nothing is without reason.
The correlation of meaning doesn't have to be clear.
Whatever, somehow there is the law and principle of the universe.
It is not possible to clearly prove what it is, so it is greater...

In particular, in this exhibition, I had a desire to feel the space.
I threw away my brush and took up my heart brush.
Cutting, trimming, and painting trees...
I focused on the sound and resonance of the sky, the earth, stars, and people.
That space became the empty field and the wind.
I stood naked in the empty field.

I politely invite those who want to stand naked in the empty field together so that the work hours that I worked hard to face my inner self that I wanted to hide are not lonely.
